Description

Say hello to the newest addition to our Webbing Grip family - the Wafer XL. The big brother to our very popular Wafer, with a full length rubber pad that is capable of gripping up to 10 kN without slippage.

This lovely device use the same principle for gripping as our Wafer - a Dyneema sling wrapped through both top and bottom plates that adds clamping pressure to the webbing between the plates with increased tension. However, the Wafer XL has an extra wrap to increase the clamping force even further.

The Wafer XL uses the same Linegrip rubber as the Wafer, but is full length - meaning the same length as a standard Linegrip. However, the weight of the Wafer XL is just 212 grams, less than half the weight of the Linegrip!
