Each webbing offered in this kit walks and tensions a little differently. Below we outline the specs that matter most — strength, stretch, weight, and width — so you can match the webbing to the lines you like to rig.

As you can see, a webbing's strength, stretch, weight, and width are its most notable and apparent features.

For strength, every webbing offered in this kit is more than strong enough for longlining. If you want exceptional strength, Mantra MK4 is the burliest option here.

Stretch is the spec you'll feel the most. A lower stretch means less work to tension a long line tight, which is why low-stretch webbings like Mantra MK4 and Blue excel on big longlines. A higher stretch gives a more playful, dynamic feel once tight — Green sits at that end, while Jelly PRO balances easy tensioning with a lively walk.

The weight of these webbings is roughly the same, and all are 1-inch wide. We do offer other widths and webbings that aren't standard in this kit — if you'd like one, just reach out and we can put together a custom line.
