Alpine Leash Kit

The Alpine Leash Kit is a super lightweight leash for those long approach lines or Freestyle lines where every gram matters! It comes with your choice of length threaded leash constructed from a 7.7mm Twin Dynamic Rope threaded through 15mm Tubular Nylon, your choice of leash rings, and a protection sleeve for where the leash is connected to the leash rings.

With a weight range of 234 - 262 grams, depending on the length you choose, this leash is 27% lighter than our standard Threaded Highline Leash. That makes a big difference for those long hikes in or those big rotational tricks on the freestyle line.

Built from high quality materials, this leash is made to withstand many leash falls. We have put this leash through exhaustive testing involving several hundred leash falls onto the same leash with zero signs of wear. If you are looking for a burly leash that you can trust your life to, this is one to get.

The leash comes with a set of forged aluminum leash rings and a tubular abrasion sleeve for the ring attachment point. Please choose from the size of rings above:

No rings - Just the threaded leash
2x Aluminum Rings - Comes with 2x Aluminum Leash Ring taped on the outer diameter. 60mm inner diameter rings with 24 kN strength each

The double leash rings ensures a large surface area is in contact with your highline during a leash fall. This spreads the load of your leash fall across a bigger area, which prevents any damage done to your line during the whipper.

Length guide:

3.35m - A nice short length for walking, or shorter highliners.

3.60m - A bit longer for more space between the knots. Especially good for freestyle.

3.75m - Much longer for those that like especially long leashes.

Please note, since this leash has a smaller diameter, the knots take up less material. So, for a similar length leash, the finished length after both knots are tied is often longer than a standard leash.
