I got into slacklining one day when I saw some slackliners in the park bouncing around on a Gibbon Jibline. They called me over to check it out, and the second I stepped on the line, I was hooked. I came into slacklining with 6 years of gymnastics experience, and I decided to start taking everything I knew in gymnastics and putting it on the line. I love tricklining because of the creativity anyone can pull into it, as well as the diversity of everything that is possible. I want to spread slacklining to everyone I can, in all forms.
What's your favorite slackline webbing?
Currently, for tricklining, I am in love with an upcoming line from Balance Community called the RAGEline. It packs some MASSIVE power for huge bounces and super dynamic tricks. The RAGEline is hands down the best trickline ever! If I am highlining, I love walking doubled Mantra longline webbing, and also Mantra for longlines.
What's the longest line that you've walked?
The longest longline I have walked is 400' long in Prescott, AZ. For highlines, my longest line is ~150', also walked in Prescott, AZ.
Do you have any projects that you are currently working on?
I just wanna get out there and slack!
Where do you see slacklining in 5 years?
In 5 years, I see slacklining being the most well-known extreme sport, as well as losing it's semi-judgmental title as a "hippy sport". I see many many new types of slacklines hitting the market, and multiple established groups of slackliners in every state, as well as having a fully-global reach. As long as we all keep pushing the limitlessness of the sport, it will become and stay big!
