The MONSTER LOCK is the grand supreme webbing anchor. With a gigantic 3.25" diameter diverter, this device will hold 99.999% of the strength of all 1" webbings (including Spider Silk MKII).

The Locking mechanism of the MONSTER Lock is based on a completely new principle which allows the device to have three locking modes; all of which serve a purpose in the installation and tensioning of your webbing. Mode Zero, which refers to having a bite of webbing going directly to the center bolt, is for adjusting where your webbing sits on the lock. This mode will not hold any tension. Mode One refers to when there is a single rotation on the roller and the webbing goes around once and to the bolt. The webbing is adjustable in a single direction in this mode, which is similar to how the Alpine WebLock 2.0 works. Mode Two refers to when there is a two rotations on the roller and the webbing goes around twice and to the bolt. The webbing is locked in place in Mode Two and the MONSTER Lock will retain 99.999% of the strength of your webbing in this mode.

The giant roller on the MONSTER Lock has been CNC-Milled out of two solid blocks of high quality Alloy 6061-T6 Aircraft Aluminum and then is annodized green for smoothness and aesthetics. The two blocks were then mounted together with 3 Alloy Steel Shoulder Bolts. All corners on the roller are rounded to ensure no damage to webbing is done. Because of how large the roller is and how smooth the device is, it is nearly impossible to damage your line inside this device.

Not only has the roller been optimized for strength retention and neglegible webbing damage, the dimensions allow for multiple webbing installations, as well as easy rotation. This rotation allows easy changes from mode to mode, which makes installing your webbing and pre-tensioning your longlines/highlines easier than ever. Plus, the height of the walls on the roller ensure that your webbing stays stacked perfectly around the entire diameter of the device.

In addition to supreme strength benefits, the MONSTER Lock has been built to work perfectly with the SMC 3" Double Pulleys. Whether you are in a 5:1 configuration or a 9:1 configuration, the sideplates of the MONSTER Lock will directly connect to the pulleys with one of the included grade-8 bolts. In a 5:1 configuration, the sideplates must be bent inwards and the shorter of the the two bolts should be used. With this bolt and sideplate configuration, the SMC 3" Double Pulley will fit perfectly between the two plates. For a 9:1 configuration, swap the sideplates so that they are bent outwards. Now the two pulleys will fit perfectly between the sideplates using the longer of the included bolts with 4 washers and 3 nuts.

The sideplates of the MONSTER Lock are made from super high strength Alloy 4130 Steel. They are laser cut from a solid sheet of metal, bent to shape, then powder coated black for corrosion resistance. The combination of black and green really stand out against eachother for an aesthetically pleasing webbing anchor.

On the static side of your line, the MONSTER Lock will directly connect to any 5/8" or 3/4" Anchor Shackle. Although, it has been optimized to work with the Van Beest 5/8" Bolt-Type Shackle.
