I just wanted to let everyone know that we just started a new meetup group in Sacramento, CA. Our goal is to get a lot more people around this area into slacklining so that our slackline community can grow stronger. You can checkout the meetup group here: www.meetup.com/Sacramento-Slacklining/ .
We don’t have any meetups scheduled yet, but keep a lookout for some local highlining events, longline get togethers, and a bunch of slackline sessions to be happening soon.
It has come to the time for us to move to a new location. Our current location is too small for the growing business that we are receiving so we have decided to move up in the world. Timed perfectly with this move, one of our main members got excepted to Graduate School in Davis, CA. With her being one of the key members of Balance Community, the company needed to follow her wherever she went, so we have decided to move to Sacramento, California. This new location is MUCH bigger, in a bigger city with more connections, and in an area that is surrounded by marvelous highline locations.
